The base model is equipped with a 5 speed manual transmission, while the Cooper S convertible is available with a choice of a 6 speed manual or 6 speed automatic transmission. In terms of features, the base model Cooper convertible and the S model convertible both include the vast majority of the features found in the hatchback version, with the addition of a power operated soft top convertible top with sunroof functionality and rear parking sensors.
